I've put together a little CD that I use with my fave tracks to dance to.
I start off with a few tracks by Rondalus, an Eastern European band who play traditional medieval music. The track by them I use are all covers of classic Black Sabbath tracks translated into Latin...
Then I up the tempo a bit for a climax, using some Chello Quartet music by 'Apocalyptica', namely a very furious cover of 'Refuse/Resist' (originally by Sepultura) winding down slightly with their cover of Metalica's 'Fade to Black'
That is a 20 minute routine, at which point I take a short break for a costume change. At the moment this consists of putting on the mask you see me wearing in my avatar, but I intend to make the costume significantly different for the second routine.
The music for the second routine is more electronic and is mostly tracks by 'Electric Hellfire Club', including two different remixes of their 'Prince of Darkness' track, which contains the very appropriate line 'Dance with the Devil', which goes with my mask beautifully. The climax of this second routine however, is the KMFDM remix of Genitorturers 'Sin City'.
I also occassionally like to dance to 'Temple of Love' by the Sisters of Mercy. The one with Ofra Haza on...

My first ever performance will be in Bath towards the end of April, beginning of May. It will be at an event called Omphallos or something like that. I'll post more details as I know about them...

I'm thinking of changing the music for the first part of my set though, or maybe just swapping the order, so the second part is first, and the first part is second. Costume change makes more sense taking things off rather than putting them on...
