Okay, there are a few things I am needing to begin with.
1) A good instructional dvd that can aid me in learning the basics. I hope to attend a class somewhere, but I will be an IT contractor travelling around for a bit, so won't really be settled. On the other hand, that might be an opportunity to learn from different teachers. Still, I would like an instructional video. On DVD.
2) I want to get one of those veils. The kind I used in the workshop I attended were the ones that are about the length of the arms outstretched, and made from a very light material. I have something I've been practising with, but it is very plain, and being cotton a little too heavy. Anyone know a good place to get a proper one from? (I don't want one with coins on, and for preference, I like the colours black and red. My act is slightly devilish.)
Um, thats all for now really.

Suhaila Salimpour is probably one of the best known teachers around. She has a really good teaching technique and her videos are available from store.yahoo.com/suhailaonlineshopping/videos-instructional-videos.htmlAs for the veil. Asian shops are really good for material and then it's just a case of hemming the edges. Otherwise, I have some black material suitable for a veil at the moment - I'll do you one for the cost of the material if you like? PM me if you're interested

Thanks for the video tip. Doesn't look like they are on DVD yet, but I suppose I can make do with a VHS if it really is a good teaching technique.
As for the veil, I'll PM you, as I might well be interested. Have also been looking at some of the shops you mention in that section of this forum. Particularly tempted by some of the ones I saw on Craft India Overseas.
